I bought it last minute (and was too lazy to really shop around) but, if you do shop around (which I did later), you can find similar books for around the same price but more photos (better value). We liked the book but I was hoping there would be more pictures in the book. My friend said that she might take the photos out of the book and frame them for wall art. I bought this book for a friend who likes pin up art. Very sexy, sensual, and cute.
Wish there was a bit more content but, very nice over all. The pics are big and great.
I have seen better Elvgren examples. This book is a bit overpriced for what it is.
A great book to get some excellent examples of his work. This book has a short introduction to the artist and then jumps quickly into 16 large, color plates featuring some of Gil's best.
I only wish there was more of it.-My only reason for one less star. What can I say-just beautiful works of art.
